Vaillancourt Photography was founded out of a passion for capturing the life memories of people and myself while on a trip to the Dominican Republic. On this trip I realized the desire I had for the art of photography and the quest to capture the emotions and experience of the trip to be able to share the story.
Professionally, I began doing school portraiture as a craft project/lesson for a school in the Dominican Republic and after watching the expression of the students as they received a photo of themselves to take home it ignited the desire to capture these same emotions for people whenever possible. Now I return to the school in the Dominican Republic yearly to do their school portraits and have begun to gain traction in the USA doing the same.
